Sewing Sunday
Looks like rain so I decided to work on Duke's porch rug. I'm going to make it more of a soft "bed" so.....on to the sides! Duke is debating whether to assume position under the sewing table on his "sewing bed". ( "is she really going to sit down and sew or will she find another distraction?" ) He loves the hum of the machine. When I let up on the pedal but the machine keeps sewing, I know he's edged up too close to the pedal with his body - "thanks for the help, Duke!"

ReplyDeleteQuite the helper indeed! I like a nice strong mug of black coffee as well, never tried an extra shot of espresso but is sounds yummy. Fruity green tea with ginger for an afternoon drink.

ReplyDeleteBuilders tea, please! Archie also likes to lay his head on the machine pedal - since I discovered that I always flick the switch if I'm changing a needle or the foot!!
ReplyDeleteoh you make me so happy! love how duke "helps" hehehe. and your space is awesome! also, i brew my coffee super dark. i like folgers "black silk" and my mom will pour half a mug of my brew and then fill the rest with water, hehe! i do add a shot of french vanilla coffeemate tho.
