There are four fat quarters in various shades of orange (THE color for 2012!). I also picked up a half yard of the flowery fabric at The Quilt Asylum. The Denise Schmidt pok -a- dots is another half yard and looks so great with the rest of these fabrics I had to add it in.
I love the flowery fabric, so I hope you will love it, too! It has that modern/retro look that reminds me of something Mary at Molly Flanders would use - like the fabrics she chose for this quilt.
But wait, there's more....
I'm also giving away a pretty felt basket and a little pin cushion that I made using the tutorial at V & Co.
So there you go!
To enter this give away:
1. Become a follower of my blog
2. Leave me a comment telling me you are already a follower or a new follower
3. For an additional chance, leave a second comment telling me the name of your favorite on line quilt shop - or if you don't buy on line, your favorite local quilt shop. I would love to hear where you find the fabrics you love.
The winner will be announced a week from today.
Duke wishes you luck! He is cozied up beside me on the couch right now, just like he was the other day when I was reading my book on my Ipad.
He's my snuggle bug!!
Kris
Don't have much experience with buying online, but my favourite quilt shop is Earthly Goods in Edmonton Alberta.
ReplyDeleteAlso I am a follower and orange is my favourite colour, thanks for the awesome giveaway!
ReplyDeleteWhat nice fabric. I'm loving orange alot. How can you be unhappy when you look at orange? hehe. I have not bought fabric online...yet. I have three LQS that I'm lucky to have close. Each one is alittle different but it should be that way right? They are Country Sewing Center, Quilter's Corner and Thistle Dew.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your giveaway and a chance to win.

I'm a follower of your blog - and received the great fabric for the Fugly Fabric Party - what you sent is not really Fugly but mainly pink themed that will be really fun for me to use. Thank you so much! : ) June
ReplyDeleteI haven't purchased fabric online - there are so many stores in San Diego and southern California there is really no need for me to do that. I've been going to Bits and Pieces in Escondido - they have a good selection of Kona cotton.
ReplyDeleteOnline, I do buy supplies from Leah Day, Day Style Designs. I read her blog and get such help with free motion design - getting supplies there is a way to thank her.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite online shop is Fabricworm. I love Fat Quarter Shop, too, but Fabricworm has some cute fabrics like the Kawaii from Hawaii ones that I just can't find anywhere else at such a tempting price. Plus, they offer lots of different bundles, which came in handy on a recent project when I only needed one color of fat quarters from a line, instead of the whole range.
ReplyDeleteI have become a follower!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite LQS is not so local to me. It is Dakota Cabin Quilts in Hettinger, ND and is about 4 hrs from here. But when we travel to the SW part of the state, I can usually talk my husband into detouring.
