A finished quilt to show - yeah! One of my goals for May was to finish the binding and get it on this quilt. Check! You may remember a previous post about this quilt. My friend (since 1sts grade!) Sheri was visiting with her two daughters. Her oldest daughter, Taylor, took a quilting lesson at her LQS back in 2008 and made this quilt. All it needed was to be quilted and bound. While they were here I showed her how to do some straigh line quilting and she was off and running! Our time was so full during their stay, that we never got to the binding part, so I told her to leave it and I'd finish it up. It needed to get DONE! She worked so hard on this that we had to reach the finish line.
Duke spent the day here:

and here! (not using the new dog bed, see it there on the floor?!)
But alas you think he is always indoors - here he was the day before in the sunshine:
Happy Dog Face!

That's a great looking quilt! How nice of you to help in the finish. Your front porch looks like a wonderful place to sit and stitch! I love the picture of Duke on the couch and the empty dog bed right in front of him! Too Funny!
