My new little blog has just hit the 2000 mark for views! And Quilt Story gave a shout out to my Chevron Quilt! Both made my day!
Are you ready for some pictures?
Yesterday we had some sun so I took some outdoor pictures of the quilt for Sheri blogged about here before I ship it off to my dear friend in Idaho.
The colors show much better in daylight!
I started the EPP (English Paper Piecing) project as in, took my first stitches! So fun to do while relaxing. You can get more details from the button on my sidebar Rose Star Block Party.
I had ironed the fabric and pinned it earlier in the day.
Here is where I left off last night:
There are five of the fussy cut kites left to stitch, then you stitch all of these together. It was almost 1am when I stopped - just couldn't stitch one more.

Your quilt looks so pretty on that blue chair! And I need to get going on my Rose Star. I hate getting behind so early in the game...Yours looks awesome!
